The ski boot has a hard shell (7) as the shaft lower part. A cuff (8), forming the shaft top part is attached by, a cellular elastic compression springs to the ankle portion by spring strips (1). The compression sprung is in at least one holder (5) closed by an adjustable cover (60 on at least one side, joined to the hand shell by an angled connection (10) in the middle of the heel. The forward bend of the foreleg in the cuff is restricted to 40 deg. with increased resistance. At least one U-shaped bracket (2) is joined dorsally and height-adjustably to the spring strips. ADVANTAGE - Improved boot design for greater safety.
