The driven spindle (2) has a centre line (Mo), and carries a bridge plate (3) on which is fixed a bridge bolt (4) by means of a plate (5). The latter plate is displaceable between fillets and is screwed (7) through long holes in the bridge plate (3). The distance between the centre line or centre point (M) of the bridge bolt (4) and the spindle centre line (Mo) or its centre point can be adjusted from zero to a max. value in accordance with a scale. The workpiece is directly or by means of a fitting attached to a plate, the nave of which is rotatably located on the bridge bolt (4) and connected to a toothed belt wheel (11). USE - To produce workpeices with elliptical or other unround cross-sections.
