The display is evaluated by a computer storing volumes previously delivered by the same supplier over a set period. Quality data derived from samples previously from the same supplier are also stored. These data include: specific gravity; percentage of fat; amt. of dry mass (excluding fat); specific gravity of fat and dry mass. The computer calculates the relative density factor for use as the basis for calculating the masses from the volumes delivered. - A pulse generator can be used to control the sample extractor (3). The analysing equipment for deriving the quality data of the milk is pref. integrated in the vol. measuring section (5) following the air separator (4).
