A moving contact (9) is displaced between two fixed contacts (6,7) by a helical spring (17) which connects a point (18) on its tongue (8) to a lever (16) pushed down by the plunger (20). The base of the tongue (8) is recessed into a notch (10) in a bar (12), above another notch (15) in the opposite side where the lever (16) is pivoted. The end (19) of the spring (17) describes an arc (24) of a circle about the pivot (15) as the plunger (20) is depressed. ADVANTAGE - Simplification of switch structure does not impair its function and is conformable to relevant industrial standard.
