The ducting (12) has ducts (A,B) with main air entry (14), recirculation entry (30), fan (V) and heat exchanger (S) from which air enters the passenger compartment to the right. A multiple articulated shutter (38) is provided to control variable air mixing and recirculation flows aided by the main air entry and heat exchanger shutters (20). The multiple shutter (38) has a flat rigid central portion (38b) articulated at its transverse parallel edges (E) to flat rigid end portions (38a) which are articulated to the ducting. The rigid portions comprise a central rigid plate (44) covered with elastomeric material (42) which extends to form the hinges.
