PURPOSE:To enhance both the performance and reliability of a solid-state pickup device, by eliminating mutual crossing of connecting lines that connect the input parts between the photodetector array and the CCD having the structure of time delay integration and thus preventing deterioration of picture quality due to the crosstalk caused by the above-mentioned crossing. CONSTITUTION:Assuming the direction orthogonal to the optical image shifting direction B of a pickup subject as the direction of row, and the photodetector arrays A are arranged into a row. The infrared photodetectors 11-46 are connected to both ends of the array A to secure different delay times, and the time delay integration CCDs 1, 8 and 5 plus 7, 4 and 9 of olural input parts are arranged. The sequence of arrangement is reversed to each other among the input parts of the above-mentioned CCDs. The output signals of detectors 11-46 are distributed to the upper and lower sides respectively to be connected to those CCDs, and this output is applied to the time-series signal processing CCDK1 and K2 each. Thus a mutual crossing is removed between the connecting lines to eliminate the crosstalk caused by the crossing. As a result, the quality of picture is improved. |
