<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the durability by placing a turn-back-like transmitting line, placing a turn-back-like receiving line which is coupled electromagnetically with the transmitting line and varies an electromagnetic characteristic by approach of a metal in a face parallel position to the transmitting line, forming the transmitting line and the receiving line on both faces of a substrate, and sticking a protective sheet onto both the faces. CONSTITUTION:When a current is allowed to flow to a turn-back-like transmitting line 22 and a magnetic field is generated, electromotive force is generated by a mutual induction action in a receiving line 26 coupled electromagnetically with its transmitting line 22. In this case, when such a metal as a pinball B approaches a metal sensor, an eddy current is generated in the direction for negating a magnetic flux caused by the metal sensor on the surface of the metal. In the transmitting line 22, the impedance is varied by influence of its eddy current and a current is varied, and the receiving line 26 varies magnitude of the electromotive force. By detecting this variation, approach of a metal is decided. Plural transmitting lines 22 and receiving lines 26 are provided, and by placing them in the intersecting direction, a detection matrix 20 is constituted, the transmitting line 22 and the receiving line 26 whose electromagnetic characteristic is varied are detected, and a position of the metal is grasped as a coordinate. In such a way, a motion of a pinball can be pursued as a variation of the coordinate.</p> |
