PURPOSE:To obtain the approximate curve of the curve by dividing the curve into two divided curves, deriving a difference of a linear segment obtained by connecting both ends and a divided point and a straight line obtained by connecting both ends, and deriving the number of divisions until its difference becomes smaller than a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:By deriving a first divided point D1, length of segments L1, L2 and L3 is derived, difference data L1 is derived by an expression I, and whether this value is below a contant L0 determined in advance or not is checked. In the case of being below the constant, the number of divisions of a small curve CV0 becomes '1', and when it is not satisfied, by deriving a second divided point D2 and deriving length of segments L4, L5, a calculation of an expression II is executed. Subsequently, whether this difference data L2 is below the constant L0 determined in advance or not is decided, and when it is below the constant, the number of divisions of the small curve CV0 becomes '2', and unless it is below the constant, the same division is executed successively, and the division is derived until its difference data becomes below the constant L0 determined in advance. Next, by deriving the number of divisions of the curve, based on the number of divisions until it becomes smaller than the value determined in advance, the curve is represented approximately. |
