PURPOSE:To facilitate connecting and fixing by providing a connecting device including an engaging piece for engagement with a recessed groove and an engaging groove of a main ceiling bar and a positioning notch, and an insertion piece which is fixed in an insertion groove of an auxiliary ceiling bar. CONSTITUTION:An insertion piece 21 of a connecting metal fixture 20 is inserted into an insertion groove 15a of an auxiliary ceiling bar 11 to urge a stopper piece 28 against the bottom of the groove 15a to fix it. And two fittings 20, 20 which are in contact with an extensible curved part 26 are fitted into the grooves 15a on the opposite sides of the bar 11 to cause the bar 11 to move downwardly from above a main ceiling bar 10 so that a positioning claw 22 is engaged with a positioning notch 18. Next, upper and lower stopper claws 23, 24 are engaged with a recessed groove 13, a flange 14 and a stopper groove 15 to precisely position the bar 10 and the bar 11, and a fixing claw 27 is oriented normal to the side of the bar 10 to fix the bars 10, 11. As a result, fixing can be performed surely in a simple manner. |
