PURPOSE:To enable motor jitter to be measured with high accuracy by providing the edge of a motor shaft with an inclined mirror and a pulse illuminant for irradiation thereto, and a photosensitive body positioned on the rotational locus of the reflected light of the irradiation equidistantly from a reflection point. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam from a laser diode 1 is curved with a reflecting mirror 3, reflected with an inclined mirror 4 on the rotational shaft 6 of a motor 5 as a measurement object, and then arrives at a photosensitive film 7. The light reflected with the mirror 4 draws a circular locus 8 on the film 7, together with the motor 5. The laser beam emits pulse light only for the period of one turn of the motor 5, and if there is no jitter in the rotation of the motor 5, points at equal intervals are exposed on the film 7. According to the aforesaid construction, the jitter of the motor 5 can be measured by detecting the deviation of the exposed points tram an equidistant gap. |
