A composition comprising an elastomer and a stabilizer mixture consisting of a) at least one phenol of formula <IMAGE> I wherein Ra and Rb are each independently of the other C1-C4alkyl and Rc is C6-C12alkyl, and b) at least one phenol of formula II <IMAGE> II wherein n is 0 to 3, R1 and R2 are each independently of the other C1-C12alkyl or -CH2SR3, R3 is C3-C18alkyl, phenyl or benzyl, and R4 is hydrogen or methyl.
