PURPOSE:To obtain a favorable hue with high density by easily being sublimed by quantity of heat which is added by heat transfer recording by a method wherein for a dye which is contained in an ink of a heat transfer sheet, at a specified position of an indoaniline compound, halogen is introduced. CONSTITUTION:This cyan color dye is shown by the general formula. In the formula, A shows either one of hydrogen atom, methyl group, methoxy group, alkyl carbonyl amide group or halogen atom, and R<1>, R<2> respectively show either one type of alkyl group, hydroxyl group, halogen atom, alkyl group which is substituted by cyano group, alkoxy alkyl group or alkoxy carbonyl alkyl group. Also, X<1>, X<2> respectively show halogen atom. For this cyan color dye, halogen is introduced to the indoaniline type compound, and it is easily sublimated by quantity of heat to be added, and provides a favorable cyan color with high density, has excellent light resistance, and can stably exist in a body to be transferred after heat transfer. If heat transfer recording is performed by a sublimation type transfer sheet which contains the cyan color dye in the ink layer, cyan color image with excellent gradation property and high color density can be obtained. |
