PURPOSE:To provide a light-duty liquid detergent composition excellent in softness, hand after finishing, low temperature stability, etc., by mixing specific nonionic surfactant, cationic surfactant and additive with water in given weight proportions. CONSTITUTION:A light-duty liquid detergent composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. nonionic surfactant of formula I (wherein R1 is an 8-22C alkyl; n is 5-20) (e.g. an aduct of a higher alcohol derived from coconut oil with polyoxyethylene), 1-100 pts.wt. cationic surfactant comprising a quaternary ammonium salt of formula II (wherein R2 and R3 are each a 10-24C alkyl or alkenyl; R4 and R5 are each methyl or ethyl) and having an iodine number of 60-100, and one or more members selected among 0.1-50 pts.wt. water-soluble silicone, 0.1-50 pts.wt. homopolymer and/or copolymer of a dialkyldiallylammonium salt and 1-600 pts.wt. amphoteric surfactant, with 50-2,000 pts.wt. water as the essential components. |
