PURPOSE:To facilitate installation work by providing a supporting fitting, which comprises a base frame with a protrusion disposed on the lower end of a suspending piece in engagement with a floor beam, and extending outwardly from the floor beam, and a movable plate one end of which is movably attached to the underside of said protruded piece. CONSTITUTION:A supporting fitting 4 is attached to a floor beam 3 and a base frame 5 comprising a suspending piece 7 extending from the beam 3 and a horizontally protruded piece 9 is provided. A movable plate 6 is fixed to the lower end of a supporting shaft 63 passing vertically movably and ratably through the piece 9 and a coiled spring 65 which upwardly urges the shaft 63 and the plate 6 is provided. The plate 6 is then lowered by manually pressing a holding part 64 protruding under the plate 6 and then pivoted sideward to insert the side end E of a ceiling panel 2 between the piece 9 and the plate 6 and by releasing the operation the end E is held by the action of the spring 65. As a result, the ceiling panel 2 can be installed with ease. |
