<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a ribbon ink which does not show unevenness on printing, has a long life and excellent solvent resistance, by which printing on a non-absorbent surface is available, and of which the color does not mix when it is used for a multi- color ribbon by a method wherein for a vehicle of the title ribbon ink, a polymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide is used, and a resin which is soluble by this polymer is contained in the ribbon ink. CONSTITUTION:For a vehicle of the title ribbon ink, a polyoxyethylene glycol type high molecular compound, which is a polymer of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide, is used, and a resin which is solid at a normal temperature is dissolve-contained. The polyoxyethylene glycol high molecular compound has a low surface tension and favorable permeability, and when it is used as a vehicle for a ribbon ink, the migration property of the ribbon ink in the ribbon base fabric becomes better, uneven phenomenon of printing is reduced, and the printing life can be improved. The quantity of the solid resin is preferable to be 2-20wt.% to the total quantity of the ribbon ink. When it is less than 2wt.% of the total quantity, scumming is generated, and solvent resistance to chlorine organic solvents is lowered. When the containing quantity is 20% or higher the viscosity of the ribbon ink becomes too high, the printing life is reduced, and printing uneven phenomenon is generated.</p> |
