<p>PURPOSE:To manually adjust various adjusting elements with a smaller number of operation members by detecting the rotation of a rotary operation member, generating a control signal for a specified adjusting element, and driving the element according to the control signal. CONSTITUTION:Reflected light in binary reflection pattern corresponding to the rotational position of a rotary ring 122 is made incident on a photodetecting element 132 from a reflecting plate 128 by the rotation of the rotary ring 122 and a signal which indicates the rotating direction and rotational angle of the rotary ring 122 is obtained by a decoder 134. A microcomputer 140 knows manual adjustment for a stop, focusing, or zooming with a mode select signal, selects a corresponding gain and an offset from tables 136 and 138, and performs multiplication and addition as to the output of the decoder 134. Consequently, the obtained signal is impressed as a driving control signal to a corresponding driving circuit 48, 50, or 52 through a switch 40. Consequently, plural adjusting elements are adjusted individually by one rotary operation member to easily make fine adjustments.</p> |
