PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a high power and high efficiency semiconductor laser pumped solid state laser device by improving the matching performance between a mode volume in laser oscillation mode and an induction region. CONSTITUTION:A first transparent block 35 and a second transparent block 36, which have a virtually equivalent refraction factor with a solid state medium 1 and a solid state laser light wavelength and whose sides are connected with both sides of the solid state laser medium 1 are laid out virtually in parallel with each other. A solid state laser medium block 2 which forms diffraction lattice blocks 24 and 25 where at least either a transmission type diffraction lattice or a reflection type lattice is formed, is laid out with a rod lens 28. Therefore, it is possible to set the direction of induction light in the solid state laser medium 1 so that it may be virtually identical to the direction in which laser oscillator mode is formed. Moreover, no laser oscillation mode will be kicked up by the opening of the solid state laser medium. This construction makes it possible to obtain a high power and high efficient semiconductor laser pumped solid state laser device. |
