<p>PURPOSE:To stop a train correctly by sectioning a control section of a train running path into a plurality of subsections, further sectioning each subsection into a plurality of cross cells, laying induction lines in respective cross cells and controlling the operation of the train based on a signal transmitted from the train on the induction line. CONSTITUTION:A train running path 2 is sectioned into a plurality of subsections l' and a detecting induction line 4 and a cross induction line 5 are laid in each subsection l. Each section l' is further provided with a signal processing section 6 comprising a section detector 7, a cell detector 8 and a speed detector 9. A transmitter 2 mounted at the head of a train advancing along the travel Path radiates signals through an antenna 3. The signal processing section 6 detects signal transmitted from the transmitter 2 thus detecting existence of a train in the section l', current position and current speed which are then informed to a control center(not shown). During normal operation, the train is stopped at a predetermined point along a parabolic allowable speed curve whereas when the cell can not be detected correctly, the train is stopped in a stepping allowable speed. According to the constitution, the train is stopped safely.</p> |
