<p>PURPOSE:To enhance combustion characteristics and the durability of a filter trap by allowing an atomizing section of a vibrator horn to penetrate a swirling generation section and laying out said section in a combustion cylinder deviated from the center of the cylinder in a captioned device designed to eliminate the carbon particulate in the exhaust air of a diesel engine. CONSTITUTION:The air supplied by way of an air supply duct 26 is arranged to circle around an atomizing section 29a by a revolving blade 27b of a swirling flow generation board 27 and supplied into a combustion chamber 32 from an air port 22a. On the other hand, the fuel supplied by a fuel supply tube 31 is atomized at the atomizing section 29a, swirled and carried by the swirling air. The amount of liquid atomized at that time is larger at the upper part of the atomizing section 29a than at the lower part, but the drip distribution of atomized liquid in a combustion cylinder 22 is equalized by making eccentric the center of the atomizing section 29a downward from the center of the combustion cylinder 22. This construction make it possible to minimize the amount of combustion, equalize atomization, and enhance the combustion characteristics.</p> |
