<p>PURPOSE:To cause an adsorbent fan to withstand a high-speed rotation to enhance its adsorbing ability and reduce the pressure loss, noise level and power expenses by molding a mixture of adsorbent powder, plastic powder and fibrous reinforcing material made up in a specific proportion CONSTITUTION:A mixture of 100 pts.wt. adsorbent powder, 1-50 pts.wt. plastic powder having a size of 0.1-100mum and a fibrous reinforcing material is molded to obtain an adsorbent fan. It is preferable to use, as the adsorbent, silica alone or in combination with alumina, zeolite or active carbon. As the binder, plastic can be widely used ranging from polyethylene to polypropylene nylon. It is preferable to use, as the fibrous reinforcing material, polyester alone or in combination with polyethylene, polypropylene, vinylon, polybutylene terephthalate, kevlar, glass fiber or conjugate fiber.</p> |
