PURPOSE:To allow the driver to make dialing safely during driving by providing a pedal switch for dialing to a driver's seat and stepping on the switch so as to make dialing. CONSTITUTION:The telephone set is configurated by providing a telephone control section 2 to a radio section 1. A pedal 5a of a pedal switch 5 is provided at a driver's feet at a driver's seat 4 of an automobile 3 and a conversion means 6 converting an on/off signal of the pedal switch 5 into a dial signal is provided to the telephone set. The automobile 3 is an automatic automobile and the pedal 5a is arranged to a position able to be stepped on by a left foot of the driver. Since dialing is implemented by the pedal switch 5 in this way, hand-free dialing is attained and dialing is implemented without observing the inside of the cabin and safe dialing is attained by the driver even during driving. |
