PURPOSE:To manufacture the captioned compound whose basic fabric and foamed layer are strongly adhered together by heating a polymer material to be foamed inside a molding/foaming chamber and introducing and curing a part of a polymer into a base cloth mounted airtight on an open part on the upper surface of a foaming chamber. CONSTITUTION:A forming mold 2 consisting of a molding/foaming chamber with an open upper surface causes an endless belt 1 attached to the external surface of said mold 2 to run in an arrow direction with the help of rollers 1a, 1b. Following this procedure, a parting agent is applied on the mold by a means 3, and a polymer material (e.g.: polyurethane paste containing a foaming agent) is injected by a means 4. In the meantime, a base fabric 5 which is caused to run at the same velocity rate as an endless belt 2 is pressed on the mold 2 by means of an auxiliary endless belt 11. After this step, a polymer material which is foamed and inflated due to heating by a heater 9 is introduced into the texture of the base fabric. Next, the polymer material is cooled by means of a cooler 12, thus enabling a compound (finished product) 7 on the back side thereof a resin foamed material layer is provided. |
