<p>PURPOSE:To compensate all invalid data blocks by sending a data while a number is added in the unit of blocks, allowing a receiver side to detect number of invalid blocks resulting from cell abort and reading block data stored by the number. CONSTITUTION:A block number addition section 13 gives a number in the order of generated block data, sends the result to a cell composition section 14 as a block data, and a cell with a cell identification number added thereto and composed by the cell composition section 14 is sent to a transmission line 3. An abort detection section 22 monitors the discontinuity of cells depending on received cell numbers, detects occurrence of cell abort, and an abort compensation section 23 makes cell abort compensation by replacing each of blocks from a block after occurrence of cell abort till a block at restart of cell normal reception into a block before the occurrence of cell abort. Thus, all block data are surely compensated.</p> |
