PURPOSE:To obtain a fertilizer without generating a foul odor by fermenting dung from livestocks grown with feed contg. fermentation bacteria, mixing the fermented dung with sewage sludge and continuing fermentation. CONSTITUTION:Rice bran is mixed with fermentation bacteria such as lactic bacteria to prepare a bacteria-contg. seed bed. This bed is mixed with feed grains and the resulting feed is fed to livestock so that the bed is ingested by about 20-10g/day in the case of a cattle. Dung from the livestock is accumulated, fermented and mixed with cakes of sewage sludge in about 1:1 weight ratio, sawdust is incorporated so as to ensure gas passability and fermentation is continued. During this fermentation, the interior of the mixture attains to 60-80 deg.C, a large amt. of water is released and a dry fertilizer is obtd. |
