Stop-piece (1) for a sheath, comprising a clamp (10) secured to a spur (11) with a large radius of curvature provided, on the one hand, at its base, with a bore having two diameters (15, 16) thus forming a horizontal shoulder (17) on which the end of a sheath (3) bears and, on the other hand, at its middle, a longitudinal channel (18) for accommodating the said sheath, whereas the free end of the spur (11) includes a bridge (19) guiding and holding the sheath (3), the said clamp (10) being fitted onto the stem (20) of handlebars (2) and clamped onto the latter so that it bears on the lock nut (51) of a head tube (steering tube) (50). <IMAGE>
