External and internal bidirectional rotator adapted for exerting a resistance to the action of the muscles involved in the phenomena of rotation and combined rotations observed in the kinesiological movements of the joints of the upper and lower limbs in functional re-education and in gymnastics. The subject of the invention is a re-education apparatus which acts against the movements of rotation and of combined rotation (eversion, inversion, supination, pronation), permitting the active exercise of the muscles involved in the rotation and the combined rotation of the upper and lower limbs, requiring, on their part, a so-called isometric concentric and static contraction. It comprises: a frame (1) housing the system which resists the effort (force) (traction spring A) and system for varying the tension of the spring (V.T.K.G.N.), on which rests a soleplate which is movable about an axis, equipped with two fastening straps (3) connected to the mechanical resistance system. <IMAGE>
