PURPOSE:To simultaneously process whole binary pictures and to reduce the processing time by converting a gradation picture signal from each camera into a binary picture signal by a camera interface unit and sending the converted signal to a picture processing unit corresponding to each bit of a camera bus. CONSTITUTION:The equipment is provided with cameras 11a-11n, a camera interface unit 10 and a picture processing unit and the camera interface unit 10 and the picture processing unit are interconnected by a camera bus 13. Then a binarizing section 14 of the camera interface unit 10 binarizes respectively a gradation picture signal from the cameras 11a-11n to generate a binary picture signal and each binary picture signal is sent to the picture processing unit through the camera bus 13 corresponding to each bit of the camera bus 13. Thus, all binary picture signals are processed simultaneously in the picture processing unit and then the processing time is reduced. |
