PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition excellent in emissivity and useful as a heat-insulating material, etc., by hydrolyzing a metal alcolate, etc., dissolved in an organic solvent, converting the alcolate, etc., to its metal oxide and producing a composition radiating infra-red rays to a material to be coated. CONSTITUTION:A metal alcolate or an organometallic compound containing Mn, Fe, etc., dissolved in an organic solvent such as ethyl cellosolve is hydrolyzed and converted to its metal oxide so as to form a composition radiating infra-red rays to a material such as a non-woven fabric to be coated, thus obtaining the objective composition. |
