The dyeing control system controls simultaneously a plurality of dyeing apparatus corresponding to the built-in dyeing pattern data stored in computers. The control system comprises a first computer (1) storing the dyeing pattern data, and initial values of state variables, a second computer (2) displaying the present dyeing states through a colour CRT, a third computer (3) generating dyeing control signals corresponding to the data on the dyeing pattern, and a plurality of dyeing apparatuses controlled by the dyeing control signals of the third computer (3). The third computer, a kind of programmable controller, provides the same running conditions for the plurality of dyeing apparatuses.
