The invention relates to a device with a rod allowing slow rotation, in which a rod supports a second member which can rotate with respect to a first member.
<??>According to the invention, the rod possesses a hollow body which is locked to the first member (1), caps are inserted, from the outside, to the extreme portions of the body and are locked to the second member (2), a torsion bar (4) is fixed, at one end, to the body and at the other end, to one of the members forming caps, a viscous grease is enclosed between the body of the rod and the members forming caps and the hollow body of the rod and a member forming a cap are locked to the first and second members respectively, so that they cannot rotate, whereas the other member forming a cap is locked with a certain amount of play (7) allowing free displacement.
<??>The invention applies particularly to chests (cases, boxes) for make-up, for radio-cassettes, for a dashboard of a vehicle and the like.
