PURPOSE:To detect the key depressing speed of each key by using counters which are less in number than all keys by assigning >=2 keys to one count channel. CONSTITUTION:After an initial value is set with a 1st pulse S1 from a key depression detecting circuit 2, clock pulses outputted by a pulse generating circuit 31 are counted and when a 2nd pulse S2 is supplied from the key depression detecting circuit 2, the counted value is outputted. The value is outputted to a touch data converting circuit 35. This circuit 35 has a touch response table out of which corresponding touch data is read by using the key depressing speed data indicated by the counted value as an address and touch data on the output of the circuit 35 which is generated here is outputted to a musical sound generating circuit 4 together with key number data and key depression time width data. In this case, key depressing speeds are measured by using count channels which are different by pitch names, so even when plural keys in one octave are used at the same time, different count channels are assigned. |
