The body (3) of the valve is assembled from two concentric parts, the plastics inner part (3b) being carried by the armature (11c) and providing a seating for the outer part (3a) supported by a spring (20). The outer part (3a) cooperates with a seating (4) on the housing (1) through which the fluid flows in substantially straight lines. The armature (11c) simply rotates while the body (3) moves only linearly along the thread of the spindle (6). ADVANTAGE - Min. losses of flow and consumption of energy are achieved with precise regulation by valve which does not take up excessive space.
