PURPOSE:To remove a jammed sheet or the like easily without damaging other sheets by employing control means which makes display means provided in instruction means in an area corresponding to an occurrence of jam visible. CONSTITUTION:When an occurrence of jam is informed with jam informing means, an operator recognizes display means which are in visible condition out of the instruction means 6 through 10 for a plural number of areas. This enables the operator to locate a place of the jam occurrence. Measures are taken according to the operation member shown with the display means and the jam handling procedure instructed with the instruction means 6 through 10. This enables the operator easily remove the jammed recording sheet. |
