NEW MATERIAL:The title vector having M-CSF-delete DNA (DNA coding the polypeptide deficient in part or the whole of the amino acid residue at the C-terminal side containing the 180th amino acid from the N-terminal of a polypeptide containing MI-CSF's signal peptide) and dhfr marker DNA, where these two components are separated from each other by at least 1.5kbp and the former component is substitutedly introduced into the latter component's site. EXAMPLE:A vector shown in the figure. USE:Stable manifestation of human M-CSF active polypeptide in high efficiency. PREPARATION:A vector DNA fragment containing M-CSF-delete DNA and another fragment containing dhfr marker DNA are put to ligation and introduced into host microorganisms, thus obtaining the objective vector.
