Single-image video camera recording method

On triggering the image taking, video signals are scanned and recorded on a suitable medium (12). The audio signals are recorded on the medium during a preset time period. The single-image video camera has an AV recording mode, in which video and audio signals are recorded in a mutually suitable way. On triggering the video taking, the video signals are recorded prior to the audio signals in the AV recording mode. Pref. during reception of the audio signals, in the AV mode, it is terminated during triggering of the video signal reception. Then the video signals are recorded.
