PURPOSE:To enhance resolving power by correcting printing density to lower the same when graphic data has dot density equal to or more than a set value and the number of the dots of the graphic data in the data of one page is a set value or more. CONSTITUTION:A control part 3 and a printer part 4 are connected by a bidirectional serial interface 22 for performing the communication of both parts 3, 4 and a video interface 23 for transmitting or controlling printing data formed from dot image data. In an electrophotographic printer 1, a means judging whether or not highly detailed graphic data is contained in printing content is provided and, when the graphic data is contained in the printing content, density is corrected so as to become lower than the printing data set by a user. |
