PURPOSE:To provide an ink sheet excellent in preservability and dye transfer properties by forming an ink layer containing a polyvinyl acetoacetal resin and/or a polyvinyl butyral resin, at least one kind of a resin selected from a group consisting of a styrenic resin and an acrylic resin and a heat-diffusible dye on a support. CONSTITUTION:As a binder, a polyvinyl acetoacetal resin and/or a polyvinyl butyral resin and at least one kind of a resin selected from a group consisting of a styrenic resin and an acrylic resin are used. The degree of polymerization of the polyvinyl acetoacetal resin and/or the polyvinyl butyral resin is pref. 1500-3000. As the styrenic resin, one having heat-deformation temp. (ASTH D-648) of 70-100 deg.C is especially pref. and, as the acrylic resin, one with an MW of 20000-500000 is pref. and one with glass transition temp. (Tg) of 70-130 deg.C is especially pref. The sum amount of both resins and the heat-diffusible dye is pref. 1:10-10:1, especially pref., 2:8-8:2. |
