PURPOSE:To facilitate the test and diagnosis of a package by invalidating internal ROM and operating a micro computer in the package with firmware in an external part. CONSTITUTION:Firmware operating the micro computer 1 in the package is substituted for firmware in an emulator equivalent to a read-only memory in the external part of the package from an internal read-only memory 2. Thus, the test on the package can be conducted by control from the external part. Thus, diagnosis firmware can be added even after development such as the non-detection of defective goods owing to influence given to others and the restriction of test time completion when the package is defective owing to the recognition of the operation in the test of a real machine. |
