EXAMPLE:14-Butyloxycarbamoyl-14-de(hydroxymethyl)-O-mycaminosyl tylonolide. USE:Antibacterial agent for Gram-positive bacteria having strong antibacterial activity compared with known tylosin. It is useful also as a remedy for infectious diseases of animals and as a feed additive. It can be administered by injection as well as by oral administration. PREPARATION:The compound of formula II [R3 is H or -OR4 (R4 is OH-protecting group); R5 and R6 are lower alkyl or together form lower alkylene] is amidated with the amine of formula III, and is subjected to the removal of the OH-protecting group and of the acetal group.</p> |
