The temp. regulation system uses a regulator housing (9) containing 2 adjacent feed openings (23, 24) for the hot and cold water feeds (10, 11) and a spaced discharge opening for the temp-regulated water supply fed to one or more dental instruments. The housing (9) defines a chamber (13) containing a regulation piston with a heat-expansion element and an attached setting element used to control the position of a slider (30), cooperating with the hot and cold water feed openings (23, 24). Pref. the slider (30) is spring biased against an adjustable stop defining an initial opening rate of the hot and cold water feed openings (23, 24).
