Automatically-activated vehicle braking system - uses laser beams to measure relative spacing between vehicles for activating velocity-dependent braking
摘要
The braking system allows the vehicle to be braked at a rate dependent on the vehicle velocity to prevent impact between successive vehicles. The braking is initiated dependent on the relative spacing between 2 successive vehicles. The spring is measured via laser beams projected in front of the vehicle path, with the braking controlled via a computer, supplied with the measured vehicle velocity. USE - For preventing impact between 2 successive vehicles.
