摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the manufacturing method of lightweight hose, which makes the remarkable reduction of manufacturing process and lightening of the hose itself possible by a method wherein woven fabric, on both the sides of which green rubber layers are laminated, are wound round a mandrel by the predetermined plys under the condition that the texture of the woven fabric is inclined to the axis line of a mandrel, and, after that, jacketing rubber layer is formed and, after lapping is applied, the resultant assembly is vulcanized. CONSTITUTION:Releasant silicone is applied to the surface of a mandrel 1. Woven fabric 2 is coated with resorcin-formaldehyde resin or the like as adhesive. Green rubber layer 3, which is mainly made of natural rubber and has a function serving as an inner pipe rubber after vulcanization, and green rubber layer 4, which is also mainly made of natural rubber and serves as adhesive bond are laminated to both the sides of the woven fabric 2. The woven fabric 2 is wound round the mandrel 1 under the condition that the texture of the woven fabric 2 is inclined to the axis line of the mandrel 1 by 54 degree 44 minutes. Further, jacketing rubber 5 is formed on the woven fabric 2. After being laminated onto the mandrel 1 in succession, the resultant layer is vulcanized. The hose produced as mentioned above is lighter by about 30% as compared with the conventional hose.
