An arrangement for balancing a rotor blade uses balancing wts. in the form of packets of plates of equal thickness which are mounted in the chamber with at least one in front of and at least one behind the axis of the blade's longitudinal axis. Two identical carrier bolts (4) extend parallel to the blade axis and adjacent to each other to form a positioning arrangement for each plate (6,7) packet (5). The ends of the bolts remote from a cover (2) are joined by a fixed base plate (8). ADVANTAGE - Substantially eliminates assembly problems caused by changes in shape of the chamber wall.
