In a coating machine for coating cores (tablets, granules, pellets, dragees and the like) with one or more coating materials, the cores are placed in a rotary drum into which stationary fittings (e.g. spray and cleaning arms) project, the drum being connected to air connections for producing air streams within the drum. - The drum (9) is mounted in an easily exchangeable manner in the coating machine (1). - Also claimed is a transport carriage for holding and assembly of drums for the coating machine.
