<p>Apparatus using laser radiation for operations on different types of mineralised tissues, such as, for example, mineralised physiological tissues including, in particular, bone and various dental tissues, this apparatus comprising a source (2) for emitting a laser radiation and an optical fibre (8) having a near end (8a) arranged for receiving the radiation emitted by the laser source (2) and a far end (8b) which is dimensioned so as to be able to be introduced into a dental channel or another channel, characterised in that a linear-polarisation device (6) is inserted between the said laser source (2) and the said near end (8a) of the optical fibre (8), this device (6) permitting a linear polarisation of the beam or radiation emitted by the laser source. <IMAGE></p> |
