PURPOSE:To settle a transformation data memory of a small-scale by providing both an offset register and an offset adding circuit, and storing only the transformation characteristic whose offset is zero in the transformation data memory. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an offset register 21 which can set an arbitrary offset value, and an offset adding circuit 22. Then, only the transformation characteristic whose offset is zero is stored in a transformation data memory 11. For example, the storage area of a transformation data group 12a whose offset is zero is designated by an address pointer, at the time of necessitating the transformation data group of an input/output characteristic 15d obtained after operating the offset of an input/output characteristic 15a only by i. Moreover, the offset value i is set in an offset register 21, and the output of the offset adding circuit 22 is supplied to a lookup table 17 as an address. As the result, the transformation data group corresponding to the input/output characteristic 15d is stored in the lookup table 17. Thus, the transformation data memory 11 is sufficed with that of a smaller scale than a conventional one. |
