The fitting coupling system for an installed pipeline provides a branch for the total vol of the medium, flowing through the pipeline with and part of the vol returned to the pipeline. A crosspiece (2) contains a 90deg flow deflection baffle (7), blocking a direct axial flow in both directions (1-1; B-B). A conduit (8) connects two axially aligned pipe branches (5,6) of the crosspiece. It contains a device which influences or is influenced by the medium flowing through it. The device rotatable about the conduit axis, may be a water meter. ADVANTAGE - Only slight alteration of the pipeline system for increased adaptability to various fittings.
