The resistance winding (5) embedded in MgO powder (6) of high thermal but low electrical conductivity comprises a heater winding (7) of constant resistance and a temp. control winding (8) in series with it. Two centring windings (13,17) of smaller dia. are joined by transitions (14,16) to a full size central section (18). The upper centring winding (17) surrounds the end (20) of a bolt (19) through the control winding (8), until the bolt is retracted. ADVANTAGE - Optimal centring of control and heater windings is possible during assembly. Both windings securely fixed while ceramic insulating powder filling is applied.
