An apparatus for manufacturing an elongated profiled member is specified, which comprises an extruder for the continuous generation of the profiled member, a take-off device (7), continuously taking off the profiled member, and a calibrating table (4), arranged between the extruder and take-off device (7). For adjusting the profiled member, the calibrating table (4) has a height-adjustable clamping frame (10), on which at least one calibrating unit and at least one cooling means are fitted. To stabilise the clamping frame (10), fitted between the calibrating table (4) and the take-off device (7) there is a thrust-resistant spacer (8), which is fastened on one side to the clamping frame (10) and on the other side to the take-off device (7). ……
