<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate unnecessity of design and installation of a cooling abnormality detection circuit for every device by executing the fault processing of a cooling abnormality alarm by installing the cooling abnormality detection circuit in each device in an information processing system. CONSTITUTION:The title system is constituted of a main storage device 1, a system control device 2, arithmetic processors 3, 4, and input/output processors 5, 6, and every device and processor is provided with the same cooling abnormality detection circuit 10 to 60, and when the cooling abnormality of the corresponding device and processor is detected, three kinds, at the most, of cooling abnormality alarm signals are generated and outputted, and a fault processing request is given to the diagnosing device 7 of the information processing system to execute the fault processing through signal lines L71 to L76. Thus, such waste as to design separately the cooling abnormality detection circuit for every device and processor can be eliminated.</p> |
